I am a twenty year old college student, living in Virginia and trying to get fit :) I’m very short—barely 5’1” and I’m also a vegetarian, but I try to avoid dairy products as much as possible. I was vegan for a year and a half, but had to go back to vegetarianism due to health reasons.
I’ve struggled with an eating disorder for a little over 8 years, but I’m fighting it every day and slowly making progress. I’m not perfect, I slip back into old habits frequently, so some of my posts may be triggering—but those posts will all be tagged as such and will avoidable. I’m trying not to weigh myself during this journey, but old habits die hard. I haven’t weighed myself in 3 days—which is amazing as I usually weigh myself 5+ times a day. Instead of tracking weight loss, I will be measuring my success in inches, strength and endurance :) My goal is to lose an inch off my waist and three inches off of my hips and thighs. I also want to slim my arms. I don’t know an ideal measurement for my arms though haha, I just want to look in the mirror and be happy with them. I just want to look in the mirror and be happy with myself. I’m tired of hurting my body. It’s time to give back to it.
This blog will post mostly awesome looking healthy food, and fit bodies. I will also be tracking my progress. But this blog is not just a fitness blog, it’s a personal blog, too. So, there will be posts of things that are unrelated to fitness, like Game of Thrones and other miscellaneous things. However, I’ll try to keep that to a minimum ;)
